LOS ANGELES – LA Galaxy Forward Zlatan Ibrahimović has become the third active player to reach 500 career goals across his senior career between club and country. After scoring Saturday night in the first half against Toronto FC, he joined Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, and FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi as the only active players to have scored 500 senior goals for club and country.

Throughout his senior career at the club level, Ibrahimović has made 752 appearances while scoring 438 goals and adding 167 assists across his time with Malmö FF, Ajax, Juventus, FC Internazionale, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris-Saint Germain, Manchester United, and the LA Galaxy. For Sweden, he has made 114 senior appearances and scored 62 goals. Overall, Ibrahimović has won 33 total trophies throughout his distinguished career.

Ibrahimović now has scored 17 goals in 22 MLS appearances since joining the LA Galaxy. In total, Zlatan Ibrahimović has 17 goals and eight assists during his time with the LA Galaxy, including five game-winning goals.
