6th annual World Oil Corp. Recycling Community Open House convenes Saturday

COMPTON – World Oil Corp., the leader in used oil, wastewater treatment, and used antifreeze recycling in the Western U.S. will host their 6th annual community open house on Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the World Oil Recycling facility located at 2000 N. Alameda St., Compton.

Members of the local community are invited to join the World Oil family for a morning of food, music, games, raffles, and giveaways – students who attend the event will receive free school supplies and backpacks. All participants will have an opportunity to tour the facility to learn more about California’s leading recycler, previously recognized as one of Compton’s Best Green Businesses.

World Oil’s annual community house has served over 5,000 community members over the last five years and has become a much-anticipated event. Local Compton community leaders such as the mayor, city council members, state legislators, and more have also joined in the fun and supported the event.
