Perpetual self-afflictions of an unrighteous man availeth much; Donald J. Trump incriminates himself every time he opens his mouth

Surprise! Welcome to October. In the world of presidential politics, it means a story that could change the outcome of a presidential election. Every four years the phrase “October Surprise” resurfaces into popular culture indicating to the media that a “bombshell” is about to break.

The phrase goes back to the 19th century, yet today it is still relevant, other moments that were considered political altering moments in time, were the Housing Market Crash of 2008, and former Gov. Mitt Romney’s 47 percent comment in 2012:

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them.”

Ever since the Republican’s lost the election in 2012 they have been looking for a Ronald Reagan-like standard bearer to hold up their so-called conservative principles and Christian values. They claim to have realized they needed to find someone who had the ability to reach minorities and bring them into the fold and in 2016 they chose the worst representative, Donald Trump.

By most opinions of those who are cognitive, intelligent critical thinkers, Trump is a lying, racist, misogynistic, hateful, cheating, back-biting, tax-dodging, war-dodging, absolutely disgusting human being.

Yet he is still the Republican nominee for president.

Trump coming home to roost

On Oct. 7 The Washington Post uncovered video and audio tape of the Republican candidate making vile statements regarding women and how they would allow him to sexually assault them because he is “a celebrity.”

This new political bombshell hit the news cycle by storm. In 2005, Donald Trump was on an “Access Hollywood” bus at NBC studios, being interviewed by TV personality Billy Bush, nephew of President George W. Bush.

While on the bus, Trump was on the mic and recorded making unsavory comments about women. An edited version of the taped conversation between Bush and Trump was reported by The New York Times.

Trump: “I moved on her, actually. You know, she was down on Palm Beach. I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and f— her. She was married.

“No, no, Nancy. No, this was [unintelligible] and I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping.

“I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then, all of a sudden I see her; she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

Billy Bush: “Sheesh, your girl’s hot as sh–. In the purple.”

Trump: “Whoa! Whoa! Yeah, that’s her. With the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”

Bush: “Whatever you want?”

Trump: “Grab ’em by the pu–y. You can do anything.”

That transcript shows who Trump is and always was — a man who lied his way into the leadership of the Republican Party. This is who they picked to be their leader because they despise President Obama and Hillary Clinton more than the safety and respect of the nation.

So-called evangelicals and Trump surrogates have made every excuse possible for Trump’s offensive comments and actions, even now as members of his own party refuse to endorse him he has decided to declare war on Republican leaders for not supporting his extremely offensive comments.

“So many self-righteous hypocrites. Watch their poll numbers, and elections go down!” Trump declared.

Now that he has admitted to liking to sexually assault women on tape. The only two options remaining for the Republican Party are to stay with their candidate or drop him like a hot potato.

Republicans who continue to love him no matter what will never stop supporting him because they feel he is their last hope of White control of the nation and once Obama was elected (in their minds) America ceased being great.

To the Trump voter, Christian love and values only apply to certain people, not President Barack and Michelle Obama who have been married for over 26 years, raised two daughters, have never treated others with contempt and have been scandal free while serving in the White House.

In the Republican bubble or bizarro world, the Obama family is considered evil and anti-Christian, and the fact that Hillary chose to forgive and remain with her husband of 42 years is somehow not within the doctrine of their form of Christianity.

Jesus Christ would be proud. Read Matthew 5: 25.
