Paragon Academy seeks charter staff

Positions open include teachers, Manager of Operations, Coordinator of Student Services, Coordinator of English Learners, and Office Manager/Family Liaison

COMPTON (MNS) – Paragon Academy of Compton, a free, college preparatory, public charter school serving students in TK/Kindergarten through 8th grade seeks founding staff members and teachers.

According to Sandra Kinne, founder and executive director, the charter school will hire multiple positions for the founding year, including teachers, Manager of Operations, Coordinator of Student Services, Coordinator of English Learners, and Office Manager/Family Liaison.

“It is important to us that the staff at Paragon Academy reflect our scholars and community,” said Kinne. “We want committed founders who understand Compton and identify with our scholars and who will hold high expectations for not just our scholars but themselves as teachers and staff.”

Kinne, a former teacher with the Compton Unified School District, has worked with committed, talented teachers and hopes to find mission-driven educators who fit with the Paragon Academy culture, including those are team-oriented, reflective, and response to feedback, and who believe in the power of education. Teaching positions require valid California credentials.
