LONG BEACH — Molina Medical will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newest clinic in east Long Beach, at 1900 Atlantic Ave., on May 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Rebecca Wozniak, vice president of clinic integration, Dr. Rosette Manio, M.D., associate medical director, and pediatrician and Martha Molina Bernadette, M.D., chief innovation officer and daughter of Molina Healthcare founder Dr. David Molina, will be on hand to welcome guests and share remarks.

Molina Medical owns and operates 20 clinics across 12 states. The newest facility will be the third in Long Beach.

The renovated facility will offer tele-medicine services, pediatric care, immunizations, flu shots, health screenings, and wellness exams. It also features a designated room for behavioral health services and a supervised play area for children while their parents are seeing the doctor.

More than 35 years ago, Dr. David Molina opened a single clinic in Long Beach to provide quality health care services to the most vulnerable in our communities. Today, Molina Medical serves millions of patients across the U.S.
