Just giving some thought to America the Beautiful. This nation will continue to suffer until there is a repentance of its original sin of slavery that set the tragic direction our nation finds itself heading. I am an African-American who traced my family history in this country to 1740 in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana on my mother’s side, and to 1825 on my father’s side — Black and White; one a slave and the other free.

I have the right to say something about the current political state of our nation. Vote out the haters. And we must learn our history and work together to assure that the pains of some are the pains of all.
