Christians boarded the Ark in the days of Noah; today, don’t see God’s providence in staying home

So let me get this straight — (some) so-called Christians who claim to believe in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, are angry because they are asked to stay home, not to go to church right now, but later when it is safer to assemble together. It’s not about you, it’s about us. Matthew 7:12

God told Noah to build an ark and that the world was plagued with evil. God said, I’m done with mankind. Noah was told to go into the boat and remain [there] until the Earth was no longer covered with water.

Noah remained in the Ark for more than 150 days and did not leave until it was safe. Noah did not lose his mind. He and his family trusted God and it was counted as faith.

Compton Herald | K. Gerard ThomasFast forward to 2020 with people who claim to be believers, but have very little faith in God’s ability to protect them if they stay home, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. They think God would be displeased with them if they somehow listen to reason and obey the CDC regulations that will save other lives. It’s Not About You! Genesis, chapters 6-8
