California Student Aid Commission seeks grant funding applicants

CSAC will provide one-time funding beginning July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2020

SACRAMENTO — The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is accepting applications for grant funding for the California Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP). The total grant budget for this Request for Application (RFA) is $1,431,746 per award.

CSAC is appealing to organizations in the Los Angeles County ranging from California based public and not-for-profit universities, community colleges, school districts, county offices of education, community-based organizations, and nonprofit agencies or accredited private vocational or technical schools.

CSAC will provide one-time funding for a grant period beginning July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2020. The deadline to submit applications is April 30, 2018. Funds are available based on the application and proposed budget.
