According to the South Coast AQMD, air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive individuals in East, West, and South San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Walnut Valley for Oct. 1.

AQMD forecasts bad air quality in parts of L.A. County 

LOS ANGELES – The AQMD forecasts unhealthy air quality for sensitive individuals in East, West, and South San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Walnut Valley for Monday, Oct. 1.

Los Angeles County Health Officer, Muntu Davis, M.D., MPH, advises people living or working in the East, West, and South San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Walnut Valley areas with heart disease, asthma or other respiratory diseases to minimize outdoor activities.

Children who have sensitive conditions, including heart disease, asthma, and other chronic respiratory diseases, should not participate in outdoor physical activity at schools, camps, and other recreational programs and should stay indoors as much as possible.
