Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Compton station invites community to a ‘no holds barred’ Q&A town hall

COMPTON — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Compton station will host a Community Town Hall meeting, Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 6-7 p.m. at Burrell MacDonald Park, 2516 W. Alondra Blvd., in Compton.

Deputy Rafer Owens and Third District Councilperson Tana McCoy will be on hand to answer questions from residents who will have the opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns regarding public safety and quality of life issues.

Owens has been busy on both ends of the spectrum, patrolling the streets of Compton and ministering to the spiritual needs of the community as senior pastor of Faith Inspirational Church.
