Free event at Compton College Sept. 30 features live music, food trucks, cool cars, and football

COMPTON — Compton College is celebrating 90 years of educational opportunities being provided to Compton Community College District residents with a free Homecoming Festival and Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This complimentary event is open to the public.

The Compton College Homecoming Festival and Car Show will also feature music, food trucks, and vendors, followed by a Tartar Football game at 6 p.m. vs. Pasadena City College. Live musical performances will highlight the following bands:


The Homecoming Festival and Car Show will take place at Compton College, located at 1111 E. Artesia Boulevard, Compton, Calif.[MAP]

Parking will be available in Lots A and F.

Compton College invites the community to bring the whole family for an afternoon of free activities, and then attend the Tartar Football homecoming game at the regular admission prices. Football admission prices are $8 general admission, $5 senior citizens and Compton College employees, $3 for students without an ASB sticker, and free for students with a Compton College fall 2017 ASB sticker and youth under the age of 12.
