El Camino College Compton Center basketball star forward DaJion Henderson signs with Tennessee State University



COMPTON — El Camino College Compton Center Men’s Basketball player DaJion Henderson has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Tennessee State University beginning in the 2017-18 season. Henderson is a graduate of Crenshaw High School.

Henderson, a sophomore forward, is currently averaging 7.3 points per game on 52.2 percent shooting from the field, adding 5.5 rebounds per game.

Tennessee State University, from the NCAA Division I Ohio Valley Conference, finished the 2015-16 season with a 20-11 overall record and earned a trip to the CollegeInsider.com Post-Season Tournament. The Tennessee Tigers are led by third-year head coach Dana Ford.
