Al Hamade writes to Compton, District 2 residents
"We need to shake up city hall and make our city work for us instead of us working for city hall."
From me to you: My simple appeal to the residents of Compton, District 2
Dear residents of the second district:
As our local city council election nears my opponent Isaac Galvan has decided to sling mud and engage in a very nasty campaign of lies and negativity. He cannot help it; it is his nature.
As a candidate, I have sought to campaign on the issues such as:
- Repair of the streets and potholes
- Graffiti Removal
- Improve street lighting
- Eradication of junk, litter from our alleys and walkways
- Work with social services agencies to help our women and young girls from exploitation on Long Beach Boulevard
- Rid city hall of corruption
Most recently, a city hall employee was arrested for embezzlement of city funds. We need to shake up city hall and make our city work for us instead of us working for city hall.
The time for change is now. Vote April 18th for change and tell the politicians we will not put up with business as usual. As taxpayers and residents of Compton we deserve better, we deserve a councilman who will listen to the residents and not the special interests.
If you have any questions about my candidacy please email me at email@example.com or call me at (310) 766-1531.
I respectfully ask for your vote on April 18th.
I am NUMBER ONE on the ballot.
